A fully featured billfold made with leather and Dyneema. The feel of a leather wallet is impossible to beat, but leather’s thickness means you have to sacrifice organization to reduce bulk. We found a thin, bonded leather nubuck for the exterior and paired it with paper thin hybrid Dyneema interior to make the card and cash slots. To further streamline the construction we replaced as much stitching as we could with fabric tape which makes for smoother card retrieval and an overall lower profile. Comfortably fits 10 cards and US bills for phone pay skeptics.

  • Bonded calf nubuck with Tyvek backing / DCF Hybrid 2.92oz / fabric tape

    Bonded nubuck from Ecco Leather in the Netherlands is split down to <1mm and then bonded to a Tyvek backing. This creates a thin leather that doesn’t have the typically weakness or stretch of a split leather. The nubuck face is buffed creating a subtle nap with a soft touch. As the material ages it will absorb hand oils and the buffing will be matted down a bit. And aged example is pictured showing the color and texture change.

    2.92oz DCF (Dyneema Composite Fabric) Hybrid is a ultra-lightweight, fully waterproof textile made from a non-woven matrix of Dyneema fibers laminated to a layer of mylar and a polyester face fabric that provides an incredible strength-to-weight ratio.
