For years The Weaving Mill, Passementerie Mill and 1733 have been working individually and together to share Chicago’s textile and softgoods production capabilities. The Binding Bag is a product we developed together to highlight each shops unique capabilities. This handbag uses exterior seams bound with a 1” binding from Passementerie Mill to create shape and structure as well as the handles and a detachable shoulder strap. Striped cotton fabric from The Weaving Mill lines up across the panels and make each piece unique. Toggle closure adds security and an interior pocket provides organization.
