Zip Pouch - NOAHZAGOR - Sakiori

65.00

The NOAHZAGOR x 1733 Series 1 collection blends traditional Japanese textiles with modern materials and trims to create a limited run of high performing and beautiful bags.

The Zip Pouches in sakiori and X-PAC keep your smaller things separate from your larger things.

Materials: Sakior obi / X-PAC VX07RS or VX21 / #5 YKK Aquaguard zipper / nylon lining / 275 paracord / laser etched carabiners / shock cord

The obi that was used in these bags was made in the mid-twentieth century using a technique called sakiori, in which scrap cotton and silk strips are used as the weft and woven together with a thinner cotton warp yarn. The resulting fabric is beautifully colored and thick with a very satisfying texture and hand feel.

X-PAC VX42 is a high performance fabric developed by Dimension-Polyant Inc. based on racing sailcloths. A laminate sandwich of a DWR coating, 420D nylon for abrasion resistance, an X grid for stability and strength, a nonporous film for water proofing, and a polyester taffeta backing for durability create a material that is lighter, stronger, and more waterproof than traditional woven nylons.

Features: Elastic attachment loops, paracord zipper pull, carabiner connection
